Legal Stuff for the Shellware Media Vault

You cannot (and the site will not let you) download any of the media files hosted here to your computer. Access is only granted on a per stream basis. When the stream ends, so does your access to the media.

The Shellware Media Vault is a virtual privately managed audio system made available to shellware.com visitors in the same manner you visit one's household and participate in the media they provide through a compact disc or cassette player.

You (the media vault participant) exercise no rights of ownership or posession whatsoever to any of the media hosted at the Shellware Media Vault.

The Shellware Media Vault site owner maintains possession of all media hosted here, and upon request, can provide proof of possession. Possession is defined by the presense of a physical medium, such as a compact disc or DRM secured file, purchased from the original artist, legal copyright holder, or an authorized agent.

The Shellware Media Vault is not-for-profit and privately held. There is no commercial investment, endorsement, or advertising of any kind in the Media Vault.

If you do not agree with the statements made here, immediately close all internet browsers and media player sessions connecting to the Shellware Media Vault.
